Melony Samuels has worked tirelessly as the Director of this fantastic production of The Almighty. Her adaptation of the beloved movie/play The Wiz has been transformed to meet the spiritual hunger of the community. Although a native New Yorker, Melony has planted strong roots in Atlanta, beginning with attending Morris Brown College. There she participated and won the well deserved title of Miss Black Atlanta. She has performed in several off-Broadway productions. Her resume includes participation in:

Melony has plans to open her own Full Service Performing Arts Center in the near future. She will continue to prosper with the love and support of her husband of 22 years and her two talented children.
